Nesco GardenMaster Food Dehydrator
This is the food dehydrator that I use all the time. I’ve been using it for about 20 years and it’s still going strong. I’ve tried a number of other dehydrators, but this machine is my favorite. I love that I can dry as much or as little as I want and the results come out perfect every time. The space saving advantage of the GardenMaster is perfect for small areas, yet provides an abundance of surface area for perfect drying. We make a wide variety of dried fruit, vegetables and even fruit leathers and have never been disappointed.

This easy to use dehydrator makes it simple to dry a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, jerky and even herbs and flowers. The Nesco food dehydrator uses a patented drying system that moves heated air through an exterior pressurized chamber instead of through the trays themselves. This then forces the air to travel horizontally across the surface of each tray, converging again in the center.
This patented drying process provides fast, even drying without the need to rotate the trays and there is never any mixing of flavors across trays. The powerful 1000 watt motor dries foods in a matter of hours instead of days and the opaque exterior blocks light to ensure the food retains as much of its vitamins and minerals as possible. Adjusting the temperature is as simple as a turn of the knob which allows you to quickly accommodate for different drying needs. For added convenience the dehydrator trays can be completely immersed in water for easy cleaning and are dishwasher safe.
The Nesco Gardenmaster Food Dehydrator is expandable up to 30 trays which gives you 30 square feet of drying area in a compact countertop appliance. Drying pressure will automatically be adjusted according to the number of trays being used.
The Nesco dehydrator comes with the book – how to Dry Foods which provides numerous recipes, tips and hints as well as information on equipment used for drying, history of drying food and methods. There are sections on making fruit leathers, drying fruit, vegetables, spices, herbs, meat, fish, seeds and nuts. Dehydrator comes with a limited one-year warranty.
