Strawberry Daiquiri for Kids
There is no doubt that kids love to make their own special drinks and this is certainly a favorite in our house. Made from strawberries and frozen lime juice, you can feel good about giving this delicious frozen cocktail to the kids.
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
1 cup of ice cubes
1 quart of fresh strawberries
1/2 cup frozen limeade concentrate
water (abut 1/2 cup)
Directions
- Rinse and hull strawberries.
- Place the ice cubes in a blender and pulse to crush; you want it to be fairly small, consistent sized chunks.
- Add the strawberries, limeade and about 1/2 cup of water.
- Blend until mixture is smooth.
- Pour into two tall glasses and garnish with a strawberry or mint leaves. Serve with a straw.
Gather all of your ingredients and a blender.
Crush the ice until only small chunks are left.
Add strawberries, limeade and water.
Blend until well combined (add one or two tablespoons of water if your Daiquiris is too thick.
Garnish with a strawberry or mint leaves and enjoy!
