- In a large bowl, combine the half-and-half, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla. Mix until it is well combined.

How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream
Like just about any type of ice cream, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is easy to make. There’s the additional step of having to make the cookie dough that you’ll add in during the final minutes of churning the ice cream; but even with this, the process is very simple.
Of course, the first thing you’ll need to do is make the chocolate chip cookie dough. Don’t worry, unlike regular cookie dough batter, this batter doesn’t call for any eggs, so the dough is perfectly safe to eat. Even for the kids!
To make the chocolate chip cookie dough batter, start by combining the melted butter and brown sugar, then stir until the mixture is smooth. Next, stir in the vanilla and mix it in well. Finally, add the flour and stir to combine. Chill the cookie dough for 30 minutes or until it’s chilled, but not getting hard. When it’s chilled, stir in the chocolate chips. Once everything is combined, put the bowl back in the freezer and let it chill until you’re ready to use it.
Combine the half-and-half, heavy cream, sugar and vanilla extract.
