Recipe: Fruit Smoothie

Delicious and nutritious fruit smoothies are the perfect way to cool down or indulge in a healthy treat.  



1 c. berries 

2 c. fruit juice 

1 – 2 T honey, depending on how sweet you like your smoothie

1/4 c. natural or vanilla yogurt 

1 c. ice cubes 


Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until ice is fine and fruit is pureed. Pour into serving glasses and garnish with fresh fruit if desired. 

Quick Notes

Quantities can easily be adapted by increasing or decreasing the ingredients.    


Try your favorite fruits or juice and experiment to find the combinations you like best. Frozen fruit can be added without thawing. You can also add protein powder if desired.
