One Pan Brownies
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° F.
  1. Grease and flour an 8″ x 8″ square baking pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan, add 1/2 cup butter and heat over medium heat until melted. Remove from heat.
  3. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla; stir to combine well.
  4. Beat in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, until mixture is smooth.
  5. Spread evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes in preheated 350° F oven. Be sure to not over bake. Brownies should be set on the edges, but still slightly soft in the middle.
Frosting
  1. Combine softened butter, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla, and confectioners' sugar until mixture becomes creamy. It might seem like there's not enough liquid when you first start mixing, but keep stirring and it will all come together into a smooth and spreadable frosting.
  2. While brownies are still warm, spread with frosting.
