Garlic Bread
Homemade garlic bread is simple to make and is certainly a lot better than anything you buy in a box. This recipe takes only a couple of minutes and the results are always perfect.
Ingredients:
1/2 c butter
2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
1 loaf French Bread
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In a medium skillet over low heat melt butter with the garlic, heat until there is no foam left on top. Watch the butter carefully so that it doesn’t burn.
- While the butter is melting, slice the French bread into 1″slices. Cut on the diagonal to give more surface area to each slice.
- Dip the bread into the melted butter, flip with tongs and place on a sheet pan. Continue until all the pieces of bread have been coated in the garlic butter.
- Set the bread aside until about 15 minutes before you are ready to serve it. Bake for 10 minutes at 350° F, turn bread over and cook for about another 5 minutes until it is light golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
