Garlic Bread

Homemade garlic bread is simple to make and is certainly a lot better than anything you buy in a box. This recipe takes only a couple of minutes and the results are always perfect.


1/2 c butter
2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
1 loaf French Bread



  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. In a medium skillet over low heat melt butter with the garlic, heat until there is no foam left on top. Watch the butter carefully so that it doesn’t burn.
  3. While the butter is melting, slice the French bread into 1″slices. Cut on the diagonal to give more surface area to each slice.
  4. Dip the bread into the melted butter, flip with tongs and place on a sheet pan. Continue until all the pieces of bread have been coated in the garlic butter.
  5. Set the bread aside until about 15 minutes before you are ready to serve it. Bake for 10 minutes at 350° F, turn bread over and cook for about another 5 minutes until it is light golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately.
